The quote “Beauty and Brains should go hand in hand” by Donald Norman maybe a scorn to most yet our NCF Alumna Guia Mae Fernandez-Carbonell proved that indeed beauty and brains could go together.  Ms. Guia Mae is a charming lass from Naga City and is the youngest of the four Fernandez’ siblings.  She is a beauty titlist and was crowned Ms. Naga College Foundation (High School Department) for 1997 and Bb. Palaro 1999.  On top of that, Ms. Guia Mae graduated Salutatorian in her Elementary Batch of 1995 as well as Valedictorian in her High School Class of 1999.  Currently, Ms. Guia Mae is the Senior Operations Planner of Maersk Global Services Centres (Phils.) Ltd.  Maersk is an international Danish shipping company which maintains a leadership position in container transport.

As a good education entails a good future, Ms. Guia Mae brought with her the instilled values and learnings from her Alma Mater – Naga College Foundation.
