NCF Partners with Ms. Earth Foundation

The Naga College Foundation tied up with Ms. Earth Foundation for the showing of “Project Noel” – an environmental short film that aims to promote the value of recycling and love for Mother Earth. The film showing, held on May 18, 2010, was graced by the Executive Director of Miss Earth Foundation, Miss Catherine Yu Untalan; the film director of Project Noel, Mr. Jon Steffan Ballesteros; as well as local and international Ms. Earth beauty titlists.
Miss Earth Foundation is the environmental-social-humanitarian outreach arm of the Miss Earth Beauty Pageant. “Project Noel” is a legacy project of Miss Philippines Earth Batch 2009. It seeks to prove that Ms. Earth Pageant isn’t all glitz and glamour but is merely an instrument towards a bigger picture – service towards humanity.  The film’s official premier was held last March 24, 2010 at the Podium in Ortigas Manila.  It was also shown at the Philippine Women's University in Manila ; Director's Club in Mall of Asia and SM City Tarlac.

Project Noel was viewed through the biggest screen in Naga City – the perforated aluminum cladding facade of NCF’s Melchor T. Villanueva Hall.
